RENTER REQUIREMENTS

Approval before access.

Tyler reviews every applicant and personally approves each reservation. Meeting the minimums does not guarantee approval.

Pilot minimums

At least a Private Pilot certificate, 75 hours total time, and age 16 or older.

Medical and insurance

A valid third-class medical or BasicMed and active renter’s insurance are required.

Documents and checkout

Provide insurance and medical documentation, show photo ID, bring your logbook for review, and complete a check flight with Tyler.

OPERATING POLICIES

Know the expectations before each flight.

Return to KWDR

The aircraft must return to KWDR after each flight unless Tyler approves another arrangement.

Reservations

A one-hour daily minimum applies, and at least 45 minutes must remain between reservations.

Overnight and no-shows

Overnight rental is available at an increased cost with approval. No-shows are subject to a $50 fee.

Aircraft care

No grass strips. Renters who return the aircraft with trash or excessive mess may be charged a $50 cleaning fee.

Weather decisions remain the renter’s responsibility as pilot in command and must stay within applicable regulations, aircraft limitations, and the pilot’s personal minimums.
